Join us for Conversation Corner on Friday, November 27th with guest, Jane Ledwell Executive Director and former researcher/policy analyst for the PEI Advisory Council on the Status of Women. Jane will be leading an informal conversation about the annual Purple Ribbon Campaign, violence against women and how it affects PEI workplaces.

While not every individual woman experiences violence, violence against women affects everyone in a community. The effects of violence don't stay put in one part of our lives. Violence at home affects us at work; violence in our workplaces affects us at home.

Join us online or in-person at the Rural Women’s Business Centre in Central Bedeque where we will have a limited number of attendees as we continue to practice Public Health protocols, including social distancing, hand sanitizing and mask wearing.

Conversation Corner began as a small gathering around the kitchen table in the Rural Women's Business Centre in Central Bedeque in November 2019, and continues to be offered both in-person and virtually from the Centre.

Do you have a business or workplace topic on your mind that you would like to discuss? Do you have a story to share? If you would like to be a guest on a future edition of Conversation Corner, please connect with Shelley Jessop, Manager, Rural Women's Business Centre at shelley@peibwa.org
