It is responsible for raising the level of awareness, providing support and services, and educating the public and all those affected by the disease. It also raises funds for the purposes of supporting its programs and services, the on-going management of the society and research. Largely self-reliant, the Alzheimer Society of P.E.I. is volunteer driven and is dedicated to delivering its many services while developing creative fundraising strategies to support those services.
